Foundational overview. An eternal, living God created the universe and all of the life that is in it. He is transcendent, meaning He exists outside of the universe–He created it and He is separate from it. He designed it to have various laws and principles to govern its behavior, but He Himself is not bound by those laws. He determined what they would be and He can act outside of them at will. He created man in His image–-
However, human philosophy and wisdom are not independently capable of discovering truth about Him. Instead, we are dependent on His first revealing a particular truth to us and then with us responding to it in faith and submission. Man was created for the purpose of worshipping Him and giving Him thanksgiving for the good things He gives us; furthermore, man is accountable to Him to respond in worship and thanksgiving. He reveals His existence to all men through the creation. He counts this revelation so clear that He counts a person to be “without excuse” who rejects it. Man has been given the capacity to accept or reject God according to his own will. God intends man to respond to revelation by seeking Him in order to have an intimate, holy, personal, loving relationship with Him. He reveals how to have and live out that relationship through His written word to us, the Bible. He expects us to respond to His written Word by belief in what He has revealed and submission to what It teaches. He gives man the promise of eternal blessing when man responds properly to His revelation, but eternal judgment in the Lake of Fire when revelation is rejected. All of these statements are taught in the Bible.
History. Creation Truth Outreach, Inc. Is a Texas non-
Timothy (Tim) R. Stout biography. Tim grew up in a liberal protestant church. The church taught that the Bible was a human document that represented what certain people historically thought about God, but whose only authority was that of a historical document of what other people once believed about God. God was more of a symbol than a reality. When Tim was exposed to evolutionary teaching in his school science classes, he readily accepted it. Initially, he wanted to be a professional musician and majored in piano his first year of college. Realizing that that was not practical, he switched to physics. First he went to a community college in Bakersfield, California. Then, his junior year he transferred to the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and ultimately graduated from UCLA with a B. S. in physics. At the beginning of his junior year at UCLA, he received the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior. Three years later, he read the book, The Genesis Flood by Morris and Whitcomb. This book convinced him of the validity of the young-
He also has several decades of experience as both an electrical design engineer and a mechanical design engineer, and has received four U.S. Patents in desalination, including patents numbered 5423952 and 7476298. In 2012 and 2013, the southern states of the US were being infested with what is called “the tawny crazy ant.” The only available treatment for infestations was a chemical so toxic it required an EPA waiver for use. It seemed that during this time, every week of the these two summers had news of more areas being infested. Tim developed a new approach for treatment that was featured in a Kickstarter project in 2014. However, the winter of 2014 was extremely cold and killed off most of the ants. By the time the Kickstarter project became active, interest had died. However, those interested may see the new, novel approach that was under development here. The project is no longer being pursued and the concepts disclosed are now in the public domain.
In 2008 he became a regular contributor to the Creation Research Society’s bi-
Tim has a wife, Gloria plus five children and 8 grandchildren.
